Dr. Robyn L Gagnon

You always wonder how someone decides to become a dentist. I grew up in a dental office. My mother was a receptionist at a dental office while my sister and I were young. She always wanted to be a hygienist and decided to go to hygiene school when we were in elementary school. We got to be patients of hers while she was in school. We got our teeth cleaned and sealants done. I remember wanting to play with all of the instruments and begging to come back with her everyday. From that day forward I wanted to become a dentist. I would always look at people’s teeth and point out if they have any food stuck. That didn’t always go over well.

I graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2014 and have been working in the Greater Tampa Bay area ever since. I love what I do and couldn’t imagine any other career for myself.
